Hi guys!

As you can see, we've made lots of changes to the layout and design of the website. We've also changed the website's address from http://www.thestoryofpippabrown.blogspot.com/ to http://www.pippabrown.blogspot.com/ as it is easier to remember and much faster to type. If you try to access the website from the old address, it will not work. Remember to bookmark the new site, and tell all your friends about the change!

Pippa Brown - en Français!

Hey guys!
We haven't updated the website for AGES, we're SO SORRY!!
And lots of you have been asking us about when TROPB will be finished.
Well,
We've decided to take a break from writing the sequel for now, because we've decided to start a new project! We had a suggestion from somebody, and they said, maybe we should simplify TSOPB, and translate it into other languages!!
So, that's what we're doing now, with the help of our friends, French dictionaries, and exchange students! :)

Salut !

Mon nom est Pippa May Brown.

J’ai un frere, qui s’appelle Edward. Nous avons dix ans. Aussi, j’ai une sœur, qui s’appelle Ellen. Elle a treize ans.

Nous habitons avec notre mere et notre père, dans une assez-petite maison. Il y a quatre chambres. Le semaine prochaine, nous allons aller en Afrique. Ça va être génial !

« Coucou ! Pippa ? Edward ? Vous finnissez vos bagages ? » Mère dit.

« Non, pas encore, » je dis. En fait, je n’ai pas commencé !

J’ai fouille dans mon commode, pour les t-shirts et le short.

« Qu’est ce que tu fais avec mon short ? » Ellen dit.

« Ils vont aller a la poubelle ! » je dis.

« Que ? »

Je suis allée dans le salon, et je regardé la télé.

We don't know if we will ever finish. It was just something we wanted to try, and we were surprised how much we managed to translate!

The sequel!!

Hi Everyone!
Just to let you know that we are really into the sequel now and it is coming along very quickly! Hopefully, it will be finished by the end of the school year or earlier! We are still running PBBC, and we are introducing a new Pippa Brown Bingo Game- it should be very fun!

New Stuff, as promised!

Hey everyone!

We would just firstly like to say, we hope you all had a great Christmas and New Year.

So, this is 2011. This is hopefully the year that we will finish writing TROPB!!

And as we promised, we have (finally) added lots of new stuff to the website!
Here is a list of the changes and updates!

1) Use the Pippa Brown Website to learn French, or Spanish, or maybe even Hungarian!
We've added a Google Translate Gadget, so whatever your language, you can read the Pippa Brown Website! Hooray!

2) "Buzz This!"

If you use Gmail, Googlemail, or Google Buzz, then this is great news for you! You can now create a Google Buzz post about each of the Website Pages! Just click the Buzz Button on the right sidebar.

3) Have a Pippa Brown styled computer!
Well, kind of, because we've added 5 brand new desktop wallpapers available for you to use as your computer's wallpaper or screensaver! On the page, there are also instructions about how to use them. Click here to visit the "Wallpapers" page.

4) Your Stuff!

We've added another new page, called Submitted by Fans , because recently, we've been receiving loads of great pictures and drawings, and we thought that it'd be great to show them all on the website! Don't forget that you can submit your own art/videos/photos/poems or anything else by sending us an email of it to pippa.thestoryofpippabrown@googlemail.com , or you can give it to us directly. We hope to have loads of different stuff from you soon!

So, as you have just seen, we've added lots of new stuff to the Website, and we have loads of stuff planned to add soon, including some games and other great stuff.

And a quick notice to all you PBBC members, the dates for the next few meets are :

27th January,

3rd February,

10th February,

17th February.

Please come along, as we always have a good laugh, and we've got lots of discussions and games planned for the next few meets.

Also, if you have a copy of TSOPB, please bring it with you to PBBC, because we only had 3 copies between all of us, the past few times!

Can't wait to see you there, and don't forget to send us/give us your art/photos/videos/writing or other things!

Fun stuff coming soon!

Hey everyone!
Very very soon we are going to have LOADS of new stuff on the website, but bear with us because we've been VERY busy with school and stuff!
Ok, so the first thing we have to say. We were back at school and we were trying to promote TSOPB and get some people to buy a copy. So we did a survey with 30 Year 7 students who we didn't know, and we asked them the question: Excuse me, have you ever heard of a book called The Story of Pippa Brown?
And here are the results:
No way. Nobody, not ONE person had heard of it!
So we asked the librarian if we could put a few posters up in the library.
They said yes, so we put three posters up in VERY obvious places around the library. Then we did another survey, but this time asked the question: Excuse me, have you noticed any Pippa Brown posters around the library?
And here are the results for that survey:
So that's SLIGHTLY better. But we really need to think up some ways to promote TSOPB in school!

If you have any ideas of things we could do to get people to know about it, then please leave a comment on this post or on the feedback page!

In the meantime, we are going to add loads of stuff to the website soon, and if you are in Year 7, then come to the library on a Thursday lunchtime for Pippa Brown Book Club (PBBC).

We will allocate characters as we go along, and we will also have discussions and games, including the brand new PIPPA BROWN CARD GAME and the PIPPA BROWN BOARD GAME!

Update!

Hi Everyone!
We hope you are all having a fab summer holiday and enjoying yourselves, but as you know it is nearly the end of our summer break and soon it will be time to go back to school.
This means that we will be starting the newsletter again and updating the site more often.
I hope you have all looked at the merchandise photos!- and yes, we will be putting a lot more photos of other merchandise on the site when term starts!!

Hi Pippa Fans!
Just to say that we are extending the competition for an extra FEW days.
A couple of people have entered, but there is a MASSIVE chance of winning! Especially if you know all of the answers!

Sequel Sneek Peek!!

Here is a snippet from the sequel which we are busily writing! Now, we know that some of you don't want to know what happens in the sequel, and you want to find out for yourselves, so if you do want to read this, click here.

New Price!

As you all know, we launched the book with a price of £2.50, but as the book has had such a popular response, we have had to raise the price to make a reasonable profit.
From Monday onwards, the book will be priced at £4.00, otherwise, please come to us before Tuesday or email us and we can reserve you a copy for the original price.
If you print out a copy of the order form and merchandise sheet, fill it in, then cut out the slip, you will get 10p off any other merchandise available; such as bookmarks.

TSOPB Sequel!

Hello again!

Just to say that we have started writing the sequel to The Story of Pippa Brown, and we are aiming for it to be finished and available to buy by January 2011! Meanwhile, don't forget that TSOPB is in the Library for you to read, borrow and reserve!

In the library!

The Story of Pippa Brown is now in the Library. This book has been bound and it's all ready for anyone who wishes to, to take out. This book is like any other book inthe library and so you can also look it up on the Heritage Online.So far it has already been taken out and two people have reserved it. We shall try to get another copy, so that you do not have to wait a long time to read it! Let us please remind you, that the book is also available for purchase at £2.50 if you are eager to start reading. Thank you for your support!

The Story of Pippa Brown is going to be added to our school library sometime soon! It will be available for everybody to take out for three weeks, just like any other book! You can also reserve the book, and you can see if it is on loan by looking on the library's heritage website!
